Car rental giant Hertz awarded over $16million in bonuses to executives just days before it filed for bankruptcy and laid off 10,000 staff due to pandemic

Florida-based Hertz said Tuesday that it paid President and CEO Paul Stone $700,000, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jamere Jackson $600,000.
